Questions about DEX

I have hacked my PS and have the TB dongle so I can play the new games but this seems to make it useless. so should I upgrade and it'll magically render TB useless? What should I upgrade to? Is the TB useless now, won't new games come out for it? I'm not very knowlegable.

It's a safe bet that TB is dead. I have one and I've been able to patch every single one of the games for regular CFW except for the 2 TB special discs (Spider-Man Edge Of Time and X-Men Destiny). Honestly those 2 are the only reason I haven't given my TB away.

Now here's the problem with what you're asking. You say you're not knowledgeable. If you don't know what you are doing it is a safe bet that you will miss a step and brick your PS3 when converting to DEX. Unless you're willing to do several hours of reading I would stick with a CEX CFW like KMEAW or Rebug

What I wonder is , with the new games coming in will we ever be able to play the new games with TB,like Sleeping Dogs. Because they are pretty much inactive and when they'll come back is a mystery.

I think I might work with some friends and do it without bricking,I have a friend who works at an electronic shop he does stuff like that. Do we have a manager yet? Will I be able to play old backups that work without TB like Tekken 6? On 3.55 DEX they will but not the new ones, so I'll have to go back and forth all over? Will the games that work with TB work on higher DEX's? It doesn't seem wise considering I can't sell TB for a high price and there are not many new games on DEX. Maybe, I should wait till December or sometime? The only game I want is Sleeping Dogs, with TTT2 and AC3 it'll be much more worth it.

And , can I play TB games without TB with the new patches on 3.55, since the TB was hacked? Thanks for your help.
