Hey guys ,I am currently trying to change my ps3 over to Dex from Cex. I am a NOR 80 Gig ps3 and constantly attempting to use Multiman to dump my flash but I am having a bit of problem. In the tutorial I was reading on the thread [ DEX conversion and compatible 3.60+ Backups],

It says " Dump your CEX flash in multiman: To dump flash: mmOS->Select any file->Open in HEX viewer->[SELECT]->[START]->DUMP LV2(NO)->DUMP LV1(NO)->DUMP FLASH(YES) " But then I am not too sure what he means by ANY file : l, I constantly click on the files shown and no little mini window pops up giving me the option of " Open in HEX viewer ". Any help would be appreciated! If this is the wrong thread I am sorry, please no flames :]!

have you tried following the guide I posted a while ago in the "CEX 2 DEX conversion guide by deank" forum thread?

If you haven't then try to follow that guide, its the last post in the thread so its not hard to find. And it's pretty easy do to so you shouldn't have too much trouble with it as long as you follow the instructions.

You need to press circle "O" on a file to bring up file options eg. copy, cut, rename, open in hex viewer

I did actually , like the tutorial explained but i am unsure of what the filename should be? Should it be eid_root_key or should it be something else? What filename did you get when attempting this tutorial ?
