I'm having issues unbricking my PS3 Slim which I bricked while going from DEX to CEX.

I've checked the MD5 of Lv2diag self as well as the CFW's I've tried and they look good.
I've tried two different flashdrives formatted to FAT32 and neither work.
My PS3 was on 3.55 DEX before this happened, I accidentally turned off my PS3 before enabling the QA flagging which is why I have this brick.

I've tried entering factory mode with both my Teensey 2.0++ and my PSP. Both seem to indicate that the first part was done correctly, the Teensey's LED flashes and the PSP shows that it got a challenge and set a response.
However I should add that my PS3 doesn't reboot during step 5, it just turns on.
Basically after that happens the PS3 does the fast beeps and turns off. I insert a flashdrive into the right USB port where the dongle was and turn the PS3 on. The LED on the flashdrive turns on for a second then back off. The PS3 does the fast beeps again and then turns off. There's no log or anything.

EDIT: I tried a TI-84 and a different USB and it worked for me. Thanks for the tutorial.

    Thank you very much!

Used a TI84 calculator as a dongle, worked as a charm.

I was going from CEX2DEX and bricked because my system shut off at a point it wasnt suppose to... Anyway my ps3 wont read USB, the system isnt on long enough for the usb ports to work. Any solutions? (Note: The usb ports work but the system isnt on long enough for it to load them i guess? i dont know how to say it... But i know the USB isnt loading because it has a LED light and it doesnt turn on.) Do you think i have a regular ylod or brick? Also i am using PS JIG to get into fsm with my cfw psp

It sounds like you're going to need a flasher to fix it, how many beeps does it make?
