difference between Dex 4.21 and the new regero CFW 4.21

It's mainly an upgrade for CEX users giving them more game comparability. Also, PSN Access which DEX 4.21 doesn't have.

well with CFW 4.21:
you dont need an update to play new games
dont need a formatted BDEMU drive
Should be able to play Bluray movies
Dont need to convert EBOOT/SPRX/ETC to fself
Dont need patched EBOOT/SPRX/ETC until games higher than 4.21 are released.
Dont have to convert pkgs to dex
Do have write priveledges to Internal drive and play from Internal drive
PSN and eventually reactPSN support (Rap2Rif should work now as its a PC app not homebrew like reactPSN)

DRAWBACKS:
No playing games from LAN/PC
No Debug options
No discless games (as of now correct me if this has changed)
Homebrew wont work until resigned to 3.60 (not a huge deal give it time)

Prolly more stuff im forgetting just tired.

Omg this is too much!

The worst part is I deleted the dump file and rootkey when I convertted to Dex. Im stuck forever!

What about assassin creed 3 when it comes out?? Will they be able to play it right away ?

If the two files I extracted when going to dex are lost. Im stuck in dex forever , am I correct? Or is there a way,?

So just make a new one on DEX 3.55 CFW

Downgrade to 3.55 DEX and install mM CEX version and do your dump,then you can change it with C2D command line.

Make sure you have a way to get into Factory Service Mode(just to be on the safe side)either by a pkg or E3 reader or something similar.

I just used what it downgraded to but then I needed to get into FSM.

I had to do it this way also with a NANDBIN

when I install 3.55 downgrade . I was told that I also need to install another pup file ( itskamel'sDEXPUP ) what is this file?

Patrick do you mean that you can backup new games and play them without disk on regero 4.21?
