To bad when you do this there's no speech or subtitles. Nice idea though.

Guys I found what was wrong.
The thing is, we also need to copy COALESCED_INT_FULL.BIN and COALESCED_INT.BIN from the Japanese version and put in the COOKEDPS3 folder of Insomni release. Then everything will work (yes I am getting absolutely everything in Englsh, including in-game voices and there are subtitles too in English). So basically, here is what you need to do (guide thanks to whyudie, with little modification by me)-

1. Prepare files from BLES01675 (IMSOMNI Release) and BLJM60520 (Caravan Release)
2. On BLJM60520 game folder check the files with name BK_XXXXXXX.INT (Example BK_00AB4E1847DBF1E858701F89725B6303.INT)
All the BK_XXXXXX.INT files can be downloaded here : https://rapidshare.com/files/3578148212/COOKEDPS3.rar
Copy all that files(Only with the name "BK_XXXXXXXX.INT", there's hundreds of them) to "BLES01675/P-S-3_GAME/USRDIR/DISHONOREDGAME/COOKEDPS3/"
3. Also copy COALESCED_INT_FULL.BIN and COALESCED_INT.BIN from the Japanese version and put in the COOKEDPS3 folder of Insomni release (replacing original COALESCED_INT.BIN).
4. Download this PS3TOC.TXT files:

5. Replace PS3TOC.TXT files on "BLES01675/P-S-3_GAME/USRDIR/DISHONOREDGAME/" with PS3TOC.TXT you download from above link.
6. On "BLES01675/P-S-3_GAME/USRDIR/DISHONOREDGAME/COOKEDPS3/" there's two files "COOKEDLANGUAGES" and "DEFAULTLANGUAGE", open that two files with HEX Editor/Notepad and change FRA to INT on each files. Save.
7. Build the image PS3 game disc by using BLES01675 game folder.
8. Finish. And before boot/play the game, make sure you delete Dishonored Game Data first.

Anybody try XCom Enemy Unknown BLES01711 yet? I just checked and there's an update for it. Great game series if you don't know anything about it

Sleeping Dogs BLUS30927 works
Spec Ops: The Line BLES01157 works
Tom Clancy Splinter Cell Trilogy HD BLES01146 boots to game selector no games work (broken file BinkPS3SPU.spu.self)

@Shaitan in regards to "To load 3.55 compatible backups that are not discless change Debug settings to USB/HDD, load a game(not necessarily the game you want to play) with ps3gen, be running a 3.55 DEX MFW, choose the game you want to play in Multiman and load it from the disc icon in the XMB" and your thread originated this http://psx-scene.com/forums/f290/all...ss-dex-105196/ (All 3.55 compatible games now discless on DEX) I can only assume this was your strategy for playing games that require a disc for 3.55 and not for people with a broken bluray drive (being you didn't mention it)

Anyway a much easier route (and good for people with only one working USB port thus no need for BDEMU which is well pointless really on dex 3.55 if you had all your 3.55 games on fat32 drive from CFW) is to change Blu-ray Disc Access in debug settings to BD Drive, put a ps3 game in the disc drive, load a disc requiring game from multiman and launch it from XMB disc icon; works just like CFW would.
