Did you do anything special to get Resident Evil 6 working

Hey shaitan Blord suggested i get with you, I did the True Blue compat list at crunch that jayjay maintained here, and I also made a 3.60+ & DEX compat list as well mine has both so its just not all DEX focused, just thought I'd let you know so you can see if I have anything you dont and vice-versa. This site is my home and I was recently made a mod as you prolly know and Ive been a mod at crunch for awhile so if I think any two sites can and have became allies it's crunch and psx-scene.Here the link to the thread: 3.60+/DEX ComPATibility List
Sweet thanks I'll have a look
Have you tried Resident evil 6? I ripped it from the original disc but I can't get it to work

I just booted up Resident Evil 6. It works great unlike Raccoon City. There's nothing special about the set up. Maybe you have a bad dump or you got an error when doing the update. If you try again and still can't get it I'll send you the update file I made
lol I'm an idiot, I had Boot mode set to System software mode![]()

NBA 2K13 [BLUS31028] - Works
I'm playing Resident Evil 6 on PS3 from 32GB thumb drive bahahahah.
Have a few questions still however:
First question I only have one working USB port luckily the right most one, I was scared that if I installed dex pkg game update first then rebooted and put BDEMU drive game wouldnt detect update luckily RE6 did. Since I cant have 2 usbs working at once, will updates always work this way. Install them first then put in BDEMU hd?
Also cant use a USB hub on dex with BDEMU somehow (remember I only have one working ps3 usb port, through LAN im guessing)?
Anyway to get PS3 to detect BDEMU drive if you plug in after you turn on console?
Does AVCHD from video column still work (still havent installed multiman DEX yet, maybe this is the problem) cause I clicked the AVCHD from video and it crashed the system to the plug in PS3 controller SD video mode screen.
PS3GEN question: Take RE6 for instance, RE6 is about 11GB thus i had to pick 25GB option in ps3gen, so is the game taking up its actual size (11GB) or 25GB of space on the drive? (I'm guessing once I get DEX multiman installed I can check the drive myself)
Also is it ok to use the 8GB and 4.7GB options if game is this small?
Thats all i can think for now, ill be trying to set up mmDM next so wait for a whole new set of questions bahahha
@PatrickBatman - Just full of questions tonight aren't you?
It doesn't matter when or how you install the update. You can even just install the official update from a 3.55 DEX that allows retail installs like the one Exeedy made and then just update to 4.21 DEX to play your games. Your busted USB port shouldn't ever be an issue as long as your far right one is working
USB hubs can be funny. Some aren't supported on lower firmware but are on higher and vice versa
Don't know about AVCHD since I don't use it
When you format your USB drive it actually gets formatted for 45 gigs even though you're using a 32 gig thumb drive like I am. Setting it lower using PS3Gen isn't going to help you. It just identifies the virtual media format. There is a way to format it using PS3Gen that will split your 32 gigs into 4 partitions each one about 8 gigs (give or take with the funky math they do on real size versus advertised size). Formatting on the PS3 will give you the single partition taking up the whole thumb drive
missed one - you can't get it to recognize the drive until you reboot
