DEX/CEX - Just need clarification on one issue

Hello everyone,

First, I've spent hours reading all stickied and/or popular threads in the PS3 forum, as well as googled this, so hopefully I haven't missed an obvious answer. If so I apologize.

I see a lot of threads and news about CEX to DEX, but how hard is it to revert DEX to CEX if that proves to be the better option in the future? Just making sure I'm not putting myself in a corner where I'll need to hardware-downgrade or such later on. CECHC04 with OFW3.55 at the moment.

takes less than 5 minutes with multiman with date code 20120722. You just reflash your original dump and then install 3.55 ofw or 3.55 cfw

take a backup of your clean NAND somewhere else safe, you can use that to go back to cex. or. just redo the eid hacking by reversing, it.

e3 flasher easy unbrick. (for people that dont have usb/hdd/bt)

if you have a bricked ps3 coming from dex and going to cex and you have no usb/hdd/bt, then take your original cex dump... patch it for downgrade (patch at 000C0010, 007C0010, and 00040000 with normal downgrader patches, if you have NAND use NAND, if you have NOR use NOR)
then flash it with a flasher like e3 or progskeet.
get into FSM
install a no-check CEX CFW like rogero v3.3 or v3.4 in FSM
exit FSM
fixed.
