after going from DEX to Rebug to Rogero. My first brick. Buying an E3 flasher with the hard drive dock for dual booting. Been wanting one for a while - now I have a need for it

Sorry to hear that Bahumatlord, I will not make the leap now for sure! Will be interesting to see what you can do with that flasher now! Out of curiousity what model number do you have? I'm on a CECHE01 and I haven't heard anything yet.....also on DEX

bricked my ps3 too. downgraded to 3.55 dex, flashed NOR and couldn't update to another firmware because of "corrupted data" error. Turned it off from a toggle button instead of turning it off from joystick. I wasn't even close to 4.21. :facepalm: now looking for e3 card reader to unbrick ps3 :(

I know some people who have done this successfully. One of which didnt even have his original CEX flash, I had to make one for him from his DEX flash. He was QA toggled for sure. He PM what he did, but i dont think the same works for every console.

PatrickBatman I would love to try this with you! I just need to get current DEX flash right? or if you could PM me the instructions I would give it a whirl.

Try what with me? You mean you need your DEX flash converted to CEX flash?
