SKYRIM Quest Deleter Tool

I have finally created a very useful tool to help everyone clear bugged quests for themselves.

This is most useful to delete/reset any quest that is locked in the quest log.

Or....if you have any quest that you wish to play again

eg. a quest has 2 endings but you chose the bad ending..



to use the tool, all you need to do is:

1. select the quest from the drop down list
2. press "fix me"
3. point to the *.ess file
4. wait for the tool to fix the file
5. load the game and the newly fixed gamesave
6. (optional) with your altered quest, open the console and setstage to the first stage
7. (optional) Donate via Paypal Link here...

note: Return to Grace Quest
Use the tool, resurrect Roggvir, then complete the quest using the console to delete it from the log or play it through.

resurrect 1
moveto player
setstage c7d42 20
or pickpocket the amulet of talos from roggvir

Is the attached file the same as the other download link (the mediafire one), or is the mediafire link updated (it says v1.1)?

Updated the tool to version 1.3

nothing major....yet but does have a huge cleanup of code but still works the same

I am trying to merge all my tools into 1

Also have included a quest lookup table to use in conjunction

so when you setstage use the codes found in the spreadsheet

It has been a long time since i have had to do this. But no matter what i can not get the ps3 to quickload the quicksave ess that i make with this. I have tried many times and not sure what i am doing wrong. Is there someone that could point me in the right direction. I have used the guides convert from pc to ps3 using the save editor program and it will not load it. thanks

Wrong tool, but i know what you mean

if you have a custom SKYRIM.INI,
then you will need to put SKYRIM - INTERFACE.BSA in the game disc/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/DATA folder for your region
also the quicksave should be (NULL)QUICKSAVE.ESS in the game disc/PS3_GAME/USRDIR folder

if you are running without any updates,
then you will need to put SKYRIM - INTERFACE.BSA in the hdd0/GAME/REGIONCACHE/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/DATA folder
also the quicksave should be QUICKSAVE.ESS in the hdd0/GAME/REGIONCACHE/PS3_GAME/USRDIR folder

if you are running updates,
then you will need to put SKYRIM - INTERFACE.BSA in the hdd0/GAME/REGION/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/DATA folder
also the quicksave should be QUICKSAVE.ESS in the hdd0/GAME/REGIONCACHE/PS3_GAME/USRDIR folder


or if you are unsure, just copy to all 3
then make sure the save is modded to include the magic 7.

then when the SKYRIM loads......quickload......lol

Just thought it was the right area cause I had to use this because I had to reset some of the missions to get one final
Trophy. Thanks and I will give it a try.

I used it on one of the companion quests it erased it from the log but aela the huntress still didnt give me a new job other than that good app
