SKYRIM PS3 Working MOD Files

This forum here is to confirm and collate as much data as needed to make it easier for other players to know what works and what does not.
Cudos to PSXSCENE Members DEREKTROTTER and SEIFER69ER

All mods are currently sourced from ~3 destinations
1. Skyrim Nexus - Skyrim Mods and community
2. http://psx-scene.com/forums/skyrim/
3. Create your own mod :)

Currently there is 2 methods for SKYRIM Mod loading
1. Official firmware 4.11, which involves injecting the mods into the UPDATE.ESP files -> http://psx-scene.com/forums/f289/%5B...te-esm-103084/

*Levelers Tower Mod with Quick start OFW + CFW
-Note: once uninstalled, the savefile will not let you choose the Options menu under the start button....the game will freeze. Autosave still works

Semi-Working PS3 SKYRIM Mods



*SKYRIM Ultimate Follower Overhaul for PS3 CFW
-Custom menus do not load
-only one follower allowed not 16
-all other info seems to work.


*Black Tower and Black Sacrament Armor pack CFW
-Works but cause the load screen to become phenomenally long

*Moonpath to Elsweyr Mod CFW / OFW
-Voiceovers / Quests not working



Non-Working PS3 SKYRIM Mods



*Tome of Lesser Cheating on PS3 CFW
-Tome of lesser cheating does not add to the players inventory

Dance of death also works, as well as deadly dragons, dragon spells, rings of power, and midas magic.

Currently running these in addition to leveler's tower, ultimate follower, caliente, and remodeled armor.


Black Sacrament and tower work, but cause the load screen to become phenomenally long, so I'd judge that one to be inadvisable and not working.


It seems that mods that run on the extended script and ones that open new interface boxes like the follower skills access are the ones that can not be used.
I'm unsure what was done to most of the already packed BSA files that allow them to run on the ps3, but those with folders work just find without being packed and do not appear to respond when packed, barring some special modification that I've not been able to divine. I tried setting the fifth byte in the hex to 68 like in the interface update mods, but it didn't seem to make any difference.

btw, most if not all mods can be made to work on OFW. Just takes a little more work.

How did you load the mods? CFW or OFW? (just updating the List)

Go for it, that's why its there :)

The leveler's tower seems to have an unexpected bug when used as an .esp, perhaps in combination with some other mod, I'm not 100% certain yet.

If you use leveler's tower as an .esp, soon after entering the tower, some indefinable amount of time, triggers and interactive items fail to activate. Quest stages stop triggering, chains don't pull, levers don't move, and absolutely nothing in the tower short of the doors and crafting stations can be activated. However, converting to a master file does appear to have solved the issue, at least for me. Just thought I'd give my observation.
