I'm not sure where to ask this, so if this is in the wrong section could I be directed to the right one?

Anyway, I read some of the tutorials here for adding mods to Skyrim, but I noticed some of them talk about editing a SKYRIM INI and SKYRIMPREFS INI, however I don't have these files, where would they go if I did?

Also, when the tutorials say DATA, do they mean in BLUS30778CACHE [hdd0/game], BLUS30778 [hdd0/game], or BLUS30778 [hdd0/GAMEZ]?

Only CACHE has the DATA folder.

Lastly, which files do I edit, UPDATE ESM and UPDATE BSA [hdd0/game/BLUS30778] or something else, and do I compress the UPDATE BSA?

Very lastly, TESsnip's sanitize keeps saying that there was things that couldn't be fixed and adds a list to the bottom of my UPDATE ESM, is that bad?

    Thanks.

...my topic smiley turned into an angry one somehow instead of a question mark?? lol

    hi,
if loading mods from the .ini , you have to backup the game and load it that way. Its in GAMEZ>BLUS30778>PS3_GAME

though i prefer to mod the patch, where you would use UPDATE.ESM

Oh, and you dont need to sanitize, i found it just causes more problems.

Ah, I see, I found the INI.

Why do you prefer to mod the patch instead of the INI?

Also, is there any faster way to modify the UPDATE ESM(transferring multiple records at once), because I've got mods with tons of the same names, and since I can't use sanitize it's even worse...

    Thanks.

Had the same problem gemini, can you direct me where is it?

is it really in the dev_hdd0?
or I have to add it first to the game folder in dev_usb0 and reinstall again?

Am,derek do I have to include the TEST4 when editing?

when I sanitize, this shows up: "the plugin contain records which were not recognized..."
when I try this, and after looking to the ring ingame, Labels like this shows LOOKUP FAILED

    what to do guys?
