I am not sure if it is a port from xbox 360 or not, but according to another forum it says the ps3 version has a special encryption for certain files. Might just be a general encryption for all ps3 ports. So I am not 100% sure on this one, if anyone knows otherwise please say so.
Tetzrep has been toying with the NPC Mod and even gave us his progress that he had. ( where you been Tetzrep )
and Digital has given all the info he knows, that you have to hex edit and insert a DDS Header into the texture2d file to make it usable in photoshop. He even gave his experiment files he made. He is keeping us up to date as he learns as well.
If you are are referring to Scorpion's work, if he doesn't want to tell us , he does not have to... I believe he was asked how he was doing this and he just ignored them. Just posting to release DLC. ( thanks for that btw! Love the work! )
I would love for Scorpion to get with the Digital and Tetzrep too see what they could do.

Okay so basically overnight I stayed up all night on Adderall and I have made huge strides, even as far as avoiding the TOC files completely, perfect import files and everything else. I will share my information once I am done with my mod, Scorpion could even use this to help clean up and improve his mod. I'll share shortly.
Nothing says good code work like code work done on a add drug abused for speed.
That sounds like good news, What exactly is your mod? a re color? adding in a entire new costume in the selection? NPC mod?

Ive added the face images thanks to Digitaloverdose texture2d tut.

All you need to do is install the package file. Just like the other DLC packs.
Rebuilt for original (unmodified) game. if youve made mods to the actual game (old boss mod) make sure youve restored the original files (eg. PS3TOC,COALESCED,UI_PS_VS_PS3_N......) before you install it.
