I got my business done early today, so I have time to play. :D
Now that sounds are out of the way I guess proper endings are next. I downloaded some models for use with xnalara. And I'm starting to rough out Goro's ending because based upon the text, it's just going to be easier to pull off.
Here are a couple of VERY rough previews of the first screen.
And with a touch of a filter applied to make the flat background stand out less.
This sort of thing takes a while, but luckily I just need 5 still images a piece.
You might have to help me a bit with the endings. I'm looking at the placeholder jpegs for the endings (those still images shown when viewing the ending in the necropolis) and this is the one thing that the dlc characters don't use an external package for. I know you guys exteneded the package sizes for the original boss mod, so I'm hoping it can be done for the plceholders. It looks like the archive is similar. It's an array style with no folders or anything. Each character gets a binaryblobjpeg and texturejpeg and a textbuffer file.
I'm having trouble getting a custom blood color to be reimported into the .xxx file.
I'm trying to make Johnny Cage have lime green blood spray and purple blood on body (aka not using one of the pre-made default blood colors in MKKE Color program), I used the QuickBMS BloodColor Extractor ver. .01 Beta to extract the .bloodcolor file and then I used MKKE Color ver. 1.1 and created a custom blood color for Johnny Cage (via loading the Johnny Cage .bloodcolor file and saving the new version as .newbloodcolor (I copied the original bloodcolor file into the MKEE Color folder just to make sure it finds the file)).
The part that I have a problem with is actually reimporting the .newbloodcolor file back into the .xxx. Someone on another forum told me to run the BloodColor Extractor script again and select the .xxx file (the folder just has the .xxx file and the modified .bloodcolor file), but that just keeps Cage's blood red (it also prompts me to overwrite the .xxx file).
I've re-extracted the newly modified .xxx and MKKE Color has the blood as lime green/purple, so I know that it is actually saving the new blood color. I can't figure out why it still shows up as red in the game. Am I doing something wrong?
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
I'm a complete amateur so finding a tool better than mine isn't surprising at all. I was only surprised because most people use my tool while there's a better one, I didn't understand that it wasn't publicly available though.
So, could you please release it when possible so I don't need to bust my head trying to figure out another way to do things? :P
unclefestor, the zombie goro skin that you made, with a real close look, looks very similar to the goro from MK 1 movie, pay attention to the details,
I think that's great 'cause I think the default Goro skin is very "beautifull" for a shokan", or a monster from MK, what I'm trying to say that I like A LOT! supreme work!!! could you just add teeth to him again with black eyes, like zombie goro v2?! and a zombie Kintaro?! perhaps, thanks!
made a few changes to the bms script to handle the KRC_Chr_KL_CYX_Diff file.
I'm an amateur too! probably the same with most people here
no computer trainning or anything like that, just been picking things up along the way..
I can upload the bms scripts for you if you want to check them out?
Thanks for reuploading the mod files bro!
