i actually discovered it with scorpion first,new discovery,swap the nis pre fight(from the story mode) with a fatality,did this on the 1st sonya fight vs sub-zero,she literally spinerips bi-han!
but it locks the game up do to it being a fatality.
still since the story mod scriptbinary behaves similarly like the challenge tower(you can put classic npcs put it would disable a fight ,so you have to get to the 2nd fight then put the modified scriptbinary in to load them) you could fatalities on kintaro,goro or shao kahn!
hi i cant get the character mods to work. I copied nude kitana mod to dlc as described in the first page but when i start the game and select her shes the same. All my games are inside "games" folder in devhdd0 so do i need to make a dlc folder in "game" folder as well? I already have all the bosses and dlc official players and additional costumes but didnt install patch 1.0.5 so is it required to get the mod characters to work? Help would be appreciated
if you have version thats not 1.00 or 1.01,you have to swap the ps3toc sizes.
I didnt get you which ps3toc do u mean, i just tried scarlet golden hair mod from another page and it worked but cant get the ones in the first page here to work like nudekitana. Do i put all the character mods in DLC/MODS as mentioned in the first page? Thanks

folks,im moving over to modding other games,as 1st of may,im releasing a new modpack,a mega modpack as i like to call it,as it contains several mods for several ps3 games,one of them being a psn game which will soon get its thread.
EDIT:new discovery hot swap the visual part of the ending,thus leading to cpmpletely swapping endings(swapping audially has to be done via the mkscriptbinary from the char) swap the ui_e(insertcharnamehere) for another one,you good!
in other words,the e stands for ending.
EDIT 2:alright folks,this is gonna be the last discovery im posting for now,to get the bosses to finish kahn(aka goro,kintaro and kahn himself) get one of their fatalities and get another char's ui_e so it looks like goro_ladder ui_e_goro,and also from what i've tested with goro,the first line from their ending will play(save for kahn i guess as goro and kintaro are the only ones to have boss endings written for them) or rather the text, and then the game will immediately cut to the credits.

I also just updated with the other info you just posted.
one thing i must mention,if you do swap the ui_e the ending will not fully play,we would have to edit the file to swap all those letters(say kratos's ending goes to kitana) you go to ui_e_kratos,go inside the xxx file and swap everything kratos,with kitana.
this could reenable goro and kintaro's endings,now,you have to edit the texture2d,it will definitely be a pain in the a*s.

lastly,in order to mod the endings sound,go to snd_mus_vo_endings and mod it to your heart's content!
