i have indeed testing the swapping,results were absolutely negative: mk vs dc char sub zero in mk9: 1% load screen.
though i think it may have to do with the game engine detecting before hand the engine of the file: if you use dlc folder method with older version it just skips it over and uses the mk9 sub zero,if you force it via ps3toc method,then it will crash,it may recognize it in both cases and 1 it skips it and the other it commits suicide.
thats just a theory though.
EDIT: and yes im back,sure enough,the pack i announced still needs work,so that has been delayed,and mainly the reason i havent been on is because i worked a lot on this game,so i took a break since also i was starting to get tired of mk9,and went back into other games,i will release some mods for mk9 soon enough.

folks good news,recently ps3usercheat 2.3 has been released and it allows you to make your own cheats aka modify the ps3 memory as you see fit,since mk9 does have a good example of this on ps3usercheat(press select to instantly kill p2) i think we now have the means to make a character modifier possible and with it npcs outside the tower and test your sight/strike/luck modes,have them in arcade,vs,practice,their tag team variations and test your luck.

folks good news,recently ps3usercheat 2.3 has been released and it allows you to make your own cheats aka modify the ps3 memory as you see fit,since mk9 does have a good example of this on ps3usercheat(press select to instantly kill p2) i think we now have the means to make a character modifier possible and with it npcs outside the tower and test your sight/strike/luck modes,have them in arcade,vs,practice,their tag team variations and test your luck.

Yeah that's the fix I saw out there, but with out having the Komplete version, I can't verify it works. Anyone else had any luck?

question is can I transfer these values by just copying and pasting from the old modded colaesced from the mk9 to the new coalesced from the mkke?? I would attach both files, but I have less than 30 posts......

Theoreticly that should work, even with the bosses but until I can get ahold of a copy of MKKE I can't confirm it. If you are just trying to swap out character mods for another costume then yes, it should work. Just be sure and make backups of your original files just in case

folks,just a heads up, the ps3 cheats editor was released which allows easy editing of the ps3usercheat codes,this could help us with the char modifier codes,i wish someone tossed us whats the char modifier address for ps3.
EDIT: taking a look at the latest database with the editor,i noticed that mk vs dc universe is there as well(both blus and bles versions as opposed to mk9,which is blus only) and i noticed they have the exact same codes(not addresses i mean the code effects) and that 00002000 seems to control both game's main address,while 0000c001(present in the press select code) is for the controller(c could stand for controller and 1 for player 1) and the address for both games's push select to kill p2,the first address which should be the button is the same for both,so now we know how to assign a button for the char modifer,so some progress is done,btw the full address is: 0000C001 00000000 00010000
i suppose changing 00010000 affects the button you use.
EDIT 2: these were the codes that vampirexx reverse engineered from the brienj trainer for use on the optantic trainer,obviously these are for 360 but could be ported over to ps3 format?

notice that the codes are similar except from 833CC7980 to 833C798C which is where they differ,that could be the char. modifier that we are looking for,but we gotta reverse engineer it to ps3 format.

It works but for some reason with the new patches, Freddy and Skarlet disappeared from the Nekropolis..

MostHated - thanks for the confirmation on that. Does the boss fix work on MKKE or have you tried that yet? Still trying to get my hands on the game, (local shop that usually rents them around here never got it in)
