oubgrdevvbuyn I have a problem. I've downloaded your full version of the sound mod. I have MK version 1.01, I replaced the xxx files for the ones you uploaded and the PS3TOC.txt you uploaded too (I made a backup before of both the original xxx files and the original PS3TOC.txt). The thing is that it didn't work: I go to training or arcade mode and the screen goes all black: I press start and nothing happens, I press the home button and nothing happens so the console is frozen. I thought the problem could be your PS3TOC.txt file, so tried your mod (xxx files)with the original PS3TOC file, and it was a little bit better: the character selection screen showed up and when I selected a character I could hear the classic announcer. But then, when all was set and the game was loading (showing the two characters and the "VS" in the middle) the loading bar just went up to approximatly 25% and then it froze (but this time the PS Home button worked so I could exit).

So I'm glad that I made my backup before, because I put all the original xxx files again (the original PS3TOC.txt was already there) and the game worked (obviously, without the classic announcer voice)



I was wondering if you could re-check your PS3TOC.txt or maybe tell me what was my problem. ... is it because of the 1.01 version? which one should I use?

and does anyone else have the same problem?



p.s: the techno MK song worked perfectly and didn't freeze anything (I just had to put it directly in the PS3_GAME folder. Now I don't have the classic announcer but at least I've got the techno MK song working...

Can you upload your working PS3TOC so i can look in it?
have you installed boss mod? or other PS3TOC mods?

Here how you can fix problem:
open your working PS3TOC and copy paste
block from mod's PS3TOC from "17206850 0 0 ..\Asset\CHAR_Barakaxxx 0"
to "21259108 0 0 ..\Asset\CHAR_SubZero_Cxxx 0"

OMG it worked! Thanks oubgrdevvbuyn! =D . Here's my modified PS3TOC.txt file (in case someone has the same problem) :

option 1 (direct download) : PS3TOC.TXT

I haven't tried the DLC addon yet, but I already have some questions :P . First of all, where should I put the DLC addon? in

\dev_hdd0\GAMES\BLUS-30522\PS3_GAME\USRDIR\ASSET

???

Cause if I put it in there I wouldn't be replacing anything ... and that sounds strange to me.

Then, I suppose that, if I searched the names of the DLC characters on the PS3TOC.txt file you uploaded (that didn't work for me :P) I should find them, but that's not the case. ... Will I need a new PS3TOC.txt file? or add some info to mine? In case I have to add some info, can you put it here so I add it to my PS3TOC.txt file I've just uploaded?

you want a fatality glitch lilgrim?
try this,start up a 2player game,have player 1 be liu kang and player 2 mk2 smoke(i noticed mk1 reptile is less glitchier as this glitch doesnt happen with him)
now make player 1 win the first round,on the second round just wait until the last couple of seconds,by the time there is 2 seconds left or 1 second have player 2 do enhanced invisibility.
as soon as the time runs out and finish him appears do liu kang's first fatality,and you will see when liu kang punches through smoke he will become skin less aka load his meat mesh,and then when liu kang takes his hand off smoke you will see theres no hole on his body whatsoever yet blood will still come out of his body.
hilarious stuff,i will record it and post it later.
