i think you two guys once got a mesh swap(cyber reptile) past the loading screen but the game would crash.
i have met a situation just like that one: i grabbed raiden(the one with rain's xray) i swapped xray_male with Rain(thus making the game load the rain skeletalmesh) and so it gets assigned as the primary mesh(aka the char one) i swap it via frikkie's tool.
result: gets past load screen,and then crashes.
we could try with reflection to see if the same deal happens.
EDIT: tested practice mode with rain and raiden,raiden is now a skeleton,so,my test failed,i'll later try reflection and see what that does.
EDIT 2: ignore what i said about skeleton,it works in ladder,so i guess it was a strange error.
EDIT 3: reflection showed up,no change at all.
i wonder what controls the skeletal mesh of the char you are controlling,because the Meshes.raiden in the scriptbinary will crash the game if you modify it,but other separate raiden strings exist so it may not control what meshes it must load(after all,just after it comes the Meshes.Reflection part,and yet it didn't change a thing)

swapped the ending(haven't tested that part,yet)victory,fatalities(except the 3rd one),babality(though it doesn't do anything,it still loads sub zero,for some reason),voice,xray and ladder file(ladder: what happens when shao kahn gets beaten) didnt swap the announcer because it requires you to swap the sfx part(which means reassigning the sounds)
Awesome tool, but there is any chanse to work with others UT3 games with this tool correctly? I want to mod textures in SH Downpour, inside .XXX i have found texture2D files too, i guess it's will work with it?Quote:

mk vs dc and dmc don't work as well,mk vs dc however,you can extract and edit the textures but there's no easy way of putting them back in the xxx file(no texture repacker or xxx file repacker or even a texture injector)for mk vs dc you need the quickbms script that digitaloverdose made.
so i can't just replace it byte to byte with hex after modded texture? because of specific compression in .xxx files?Quote:

@SILENT_Pavel you can,but theoretically.i did a small mod with raiden's texture as a dds and after noticing it was identical to the texture2d file(after looking through it via hex editor that is),i notice that the code for the texture2d shows up in the decompressed xxx file,so yeah it's possible,but that's why i said "no easy way"
