All mk9 versions over 1.01 will have to apply the usual fix.
heres the ps3toc to use for it.
PS3TOC.TXT
You can get the other files by unPKG'ing the download
or by copying them from the install location here:
(install the HDbossmod .pkg first)
hdd0/game/bles01132/usrdir/dlc/bosses
or
hdd0/game/blus30522/usrdir/dlc/bosses
To apply the fix, go to actual game backup directory and replace the original files off the disc.
(backup all original files before you overwrite them!)
PS3 - hdd/games/Mortal Kombat 9/ or PS3 - usb/games/Mortal Kombat 9/
....usrdir/ - PS3TOC.TXT
....usrdir/asset/ - UI_PS_VS_JPEGS_PS3.XXX
....usrdir/asset/ - UI_PS_VS_PS3_N.XXX
....usrdir/asset/ - UI_PS_VS_PS3.XXX
If it still wont work,
Delete these files found in the ps3 cache.
PS3 - hdd/game/blus30522/ or PS3 - usb/game/blus30522
....usrdir/ - PS3TOC.TXT & .time file
....usrdir/asset/ - UI_PS_VS_JPEGS_PS3.XXX & .time file

I think theres a video tutorial on how to do it somewhere too, I havent seen it though.

The new HD bossmod .pkg should orverwrite the old one....
Yeah I figured it might just be a version problem, when I looked at the pkg contents.

Ok, got it functioning. I had to manually move the files around, the pkg was no good. However once I got them all swapped I got the new hd icons now. Thanks tezrep
this is the bossmod fix for mk9 update versions over 1.01.

Most problems are caused by the .XXX and _time files in the cache. mk9 uses these files as reference and there contents must match whats on the disc.
As soon as the game is loaded every file that gets use ingame will be copied to the cache.
The other one is the ps3toc file which has the size of each file on the disc. all file sizes in the ps3toc must match whats on disc.
Wondering what software do you guys use to dump PS3 Memory?
I've tried Awesome Peek Poker, QuickDumpR...nothing seems to work

Scorpion moves with Freddy kruegur can be fix
So scorpion sword wont be In the middle of the screen.
Just switch out scorpion char file with this one and it should work
That file do work on patch 1.01
So Freddy should have a fully working spear?
