hmm,this is getting interesting,though if its like a new costume or extra music or finishers on bosses,it could all be found on this mk9 goty edition put it on mk9 with the appropiate tweaks,and presto!
but thats theoretical,i just hope im correct so we get the goty edition extras,though a true blue eboot patch o new cfw would also help.

3.A weird glitch i should have recorded,i was playing the game,and i decide to fight against classic reptile,so i start the game,select shang tsung so that i can play as him as well,and pick beginner so i can get quicker to him.
1st block in the ladder is Raiden,the shadows show up in the moon,i do double flawless victory,stage fatality and i fight him,normally if you select player select in the pause menu,it will restart you at the classic reptile fight,however thats before the match ends,so i decided to do differently,i beat him and win and as soon as it says shang tsung wins i pick player select.
I select shang tsung again,puts me back at Raiden but rather than going to the classic fight it loads normal,until i get to the fight,and what happens is the following:im at the pit now,rather than the pit bottom,the background turns black,i get the usual prepare to fight hidden character textbox,but rather Raiden shows up(he just jumps down like in Test Your Luck)and the game even says Raiden,after that i notice Raiden is suddenly super smart and aggresive,like if i was playing Expert,and soon after i quit the game.
This means the game can activate the hidden fight stuff for any character,though i never checked if i or Raiden would enter in a finish him state,since i quitted earlier,though i can check it out this weekend.

for those who hex edit mk9,and particilar with hexworkshop(best hex editor out there in my opinion:cool:)
im going to share my bookmarks for the .xxx files,the one im posting is specific for char_scorpion (but can be applied on all char\npc files)
this will give an general idea how the xxx files are put togehter as every header of the xxx has the same structure(duh:))
and this is also a way of sharing as much of information in 1 single file.

i looked at the nametable more closely and it always starts with a capital and in alphabetic order,so A and then all strings starting with a,B and then all strings starting with b etc.
so i can say for 99 percent that we have to put n in the N section,and the c in the C
