Will Cobra USB / CFW fix blu ray playback issues

Simple question: Does it fix broken playback from previous downgrading?
I've tried many tutorials to fix playback aside from the otheros CFW. Nothing ever worked including remarrying.
I know it says it plays RF and ISO's, but that's not my question.
I've searched many threads, do not tell me to search!

if i remember correctly you need to downgrade to 3.15 then update your ps3 back to 3.55 but i guess the answer to your question is yes cobrausb can play dvd and bluray isos so you wont need to use your drive for playback if thats what you wanted to know

No, I want to know if it fixes blu ray disk playback.
This guy wants to be able to put in a Blu ray movie and play it like before it was broken with a jailbreak dongle.
I thought because it does RF it might also fix whatever file is hopelessly broken. I've tried 3.15 and 2.4 and countless repair files and tutorials with no luck.

I believe I tried that. I tried so many things I can't even remember them all. Tried 3.15 and back up, 2.1, 2.3, 2.4... 2.3 remarry files... tried replacing the flash files in multiman file manager... I can't remember the names and paths it was a while ago but I remember getting an error message about no room or couldn't delete files or something like I had no permissions... anyway, never got BD playback to ever work.
