Rebug Cobra Edition or similar?
Rebug Cobra Edition or similar? –
Hi guys, I just got a Cobra dongle and am not sure which CFW to go for. I would love a Rebug version but am pretty sure there isn't one, although if there is a Cobra CFW with "System Update Debug" or something similar that would be great. I want "System Update Debug" to store updates on the harddrive for easy switching between firmwares, if I cant find what I'm looking for I'll probably use Bitsbubba's NFW and go back to the QA flag but I only just got reactpsn working and dont want to stuff it up, any suggestions would be great, thanks guys.
I think you gotta use Cobra's CFW for the dongle to work. It's on their site. Don't worry about ReActPSN not working as long as you already got it running it will still work for you. It's a different file set. Just make sure you install the latest spoofer from rebug after switching CFW's. I'm about to get a Cobra too, and I was bouncing some concerns off of bitsbubba about it and from what we were talking about that is gonna be your best bet. bitsbubba pointed out that the patched files are in the latest spoofer so after you switch to Cobra's CFW, and install the spoofer, then nothing will change for you as far as that goes.
Cool thanks, I was just worried aboout the QA flag messing up the act.dat like some people reported a while ago but I'll just back it up to be safe.
P.S. Good to know about the spoofer
what I use is NFW v3 Cobra USB edition w/ QA flag, I have found that the latest Dongle FW (4.4) does not work with REBUG 4.00 spoofer though (yet I'll have to pass on this info to the need to knows)
