hi i have slim ps3 on 3.66 can i update and run the new cobra cfw thanks

No, you need to downgrade to 3.55 to install any CFW. You can do this with a e3 flasher or progskeet, but only if your PS3 originally came with firmware 3.55 or below.

You also need the cobra dongle in order for the Cobra CFW to be any use to you.

If you can't downgrade, or don't want to, then look into the Cobra ODE. It should work on any PS3, but it's not been released quite yet.
