Need help updating Cobra Dongle
Need help updating Cobra Dongle –
I did not see a sticky and some of the other threads did not apply to my particular issue.
I have a PS3 currently on Cobra CFW 3.55 and my dongle was on v5.0. I attempted to go through multiman to update the dongle firmware from v5 to v6. The update downloaded, the progress bar got to 100% and notified me that a reboot would be required to complete update. I pressed >< to reboot the system and now when the PS3 goes to turn on, I get the blue LED and then the red LED blinks a few times and stays lit red. It does not switch over to the green LED as it did before to boot up properly. If I remove the dongle, my PS3 works fine.
I have plugged my dongle into my PC as I did previously to update it and I flashed it again with v6. Again no errors reported of any kind. I have the latest multiman and Cobra CFW on a USB drive to install after I get the PS3 booted with v6 firmware.
Any thoughts suggestions??? I did properly switch the dongle between PC and PS3 modes when doing the updates.
**** Fixed my own problem, I flashed my Cobra 3.55 CFW with Cobra 4.30 CFW, then updated my dongle to v6 via my PC. I moved the dongle to the second slot from the left instead of the first and it worked like a charm. Thanks to all who looked.****
