i have just checked my inbox and i found a little box with Cobra Usb in it......!!!What a great start for this day.....!!!
i have a CECHC04 ps3 ( Cfw Rebug 3.55.2 updated to 0.6) with MultimanCobra ver 04.02.04
I need instructions on how to install it and start playing ps2 games......

go to the cobra-usb website, and then the download section. You will need to download a specific Cobra CFW. Then if your PS3 is connected to the internet, simply start the PS3 with the device plugged in, and go to multiMAN. Go to the far left menu, and there should be an option to update the dongle the latest FW. Or, you can simply download the guide and files from the download section, and follow that to get started. Defiantly get the guide!

what is the best and safest way to update the cfw....through factory service mode or through xmb(update through storage device)??
am i going to "lose" any of my current backup ps3 games??
Not FSM. I think you mean recovery. Yes, from the recovery menu is the recommended way. I switch FW's all the time using Shaitan's method (found in the Contest! link above) and never lose anything.
What if i will not use Shaitan's method as you said.....will i lose some of my backup games by installing Cobra's CFW.....??Quote:

The problem is that my ps3 is a 60gb model.....
I'm pretty sure (because I just got my Cobra) that following the guide on their site will work just fine. If you read through it, it should answer a lot of your questions.
