possible it's spoofed to 4.31 to prevent un-authorized/ accidental updating (and possible PSN access) best way to revert back to original files would be grabbing them off the original discsQuote:

Yes I do have CobraUSB but I haven't been able to install Cobra 4.30CFW as of yet (I'm in one place PS3's in another) so really no help there sorry, as for the game working some did but most didn't (when going from 3.55 to 4.XXCFW) and I believe Sonic Generation was oneQuote:
