I'm getting ready to buy a Cobra USB in the next couple weeks and I'm doing the prep work so I can just plug it in and go when I receive it. I've got a few questions that I can't find clear answers on and was hoping that someone who has one could answer them.
1. My PS3 is non-backward compatible. It says that it can run PS2 games through software emulation. I was looking mainly to play the Final Fantasy and .Hack games and a couple other classic RPGs. Is it worth it? Are they playable?
2. It says that it can load PSX ISOs from the hard disk. Do they have to be ISO files, or can they be bin/cue ccd/img files? If they have to be ISO what''s the best way to convert them. I used to do it for the PSP for SegaCD/TurboDuo/PSX2PSP games but I can't remember what I did to save my life - it's been too long
3. I know psp iso support is new and probably still buggy, but does it support compressed iso (CSO) files or just ISO?
4. How good is the support for GameShark/CodeBreaker discs? I remember when I had my Phat PS2 and HDLoader that you could merge the files from your game and your cheat disc to get it to work. Is this still usable on the PS3?
I'd appreciate any help I could get on it
