honestly ,i think that psx backups is the most boring out of the features of the cobra ,its ok i guess but im much more interested in the other features,
it will be nice if they come out with ps2 backup support as they have promised though,
would be nice to have backups from all 3 systems.
so is this manager supposed to only have that 1 feature, or all of them added to it?
im really more interested bluray movie iso and game iso support ,and cache-less external backups for games with files over 4gigs

hm According to one of the re-sellers its in stock. But I personally think it costs too much. :P on top of that we need devs for instance that work on the backup managers to mess with the cobra files so we won't need to buy it. If they can somehow incorporate the features into separate programs or even the managers them selves then we are in luck.

It will happen but we are going to have to wait about a week after initial cobra release. Most manager devs are very good about shit like this, it's practically a competition.

we just need to wait untill someone with the proper tools can get one and examine it.Or figure out a way to crack the ps1emu themselves..

I don't think the Cobra software does any PSX emulation after all.
Actually I believe the key lies in proper .iso or bin/cue (as for PSone games) image mounting support and "redirecting" it to the physical drive.
Then the PS3 should automatically detect what kind of media (PS3 / PS2 or PSone game) has been inserted.
