I know bub, but I would not call it a lie. The percentage of people with my model has to be greater than those with a total black BC ps3.
The number of those with a full BC ps3 and cobra must be pretty small.
Like I said hope it helps and/or prevents events/threads like "My Cobra does not Play ps2 games?!"
Perhaps we need a BC ps3/Cobra Compatibility list and lists fo every model.

For example: I know I have a non-compatible unit, since I have a PS3 Slim.
PS3: Slim 320GB / CFW KMEAW 3.55 / multiMAN v04.xx.xx / blackb0x FTP Server v1.2 3.55 w/ FlashFXP 4.2.x
PS2: SLIM & PHAT / FreeMcBOOT w/ESR & OPL 9-r651 / SMS w/PSClient v1.3.1
PSP: PHAT / 5.00 M33-6

CECHAXX & CECHBXX= full HW PS2 BC (EE/GS)
CECHCXX & CECHEXX= hybrid HW/SW PS2 BD (GS only)
CECHGXX & later= no PS2 BC (experimental SW Cobra enabled)
Edit: @Jay-Jay; hey man how 'bout we change the columns to Full HW/ Hybrid / Experimental SW
Edit2: also PSP won't need any columns as compatibility is the same on all models, but there are two modes (1 & 2 so maybe tests on both)
Edit3: San Andreas works perfect on CECHA01 (full HW)/ maybe if they include model in test post we can decipher better

@nativesith, what mode did you test the PSP game that did not work?
I wonder if it would be best to use the game IDs of the games, instead of just the NTSC/ PAL regions?
PS3: Slim 320GB / CFW KMEAW 3.55 / multiMAN v04.xx.xx / blackb0x FTP Server v1.2 3.55 w/ FlashFXP 4.2.x

Sorry to break in, but I'm a bit confused concerning the 'mode' you refer to.
I've only recently gotten a Cobra and started to use some PSP ISO games with it, and may have missed some info.
Is that 'mode' something defined by the launch method or during the launch process ?
Or is it something that has to be pre-configured in some settings menu ?
And if so, exactly where is that to be found ? In multiMAN or in the XMB of the Cobra CFW ?
And in what way is that 'mode' supposed to affect the gaming session ?
Best regards: dlanor

bitsbubba mentions these modes on his reply #14 above.

no problem dlanor I'm here to help, the modes can be selected in multiMAN
Go to the Retro Column and select game, press Triangle then select Game Settings, there you will get 3 options
1- Auto (set by default)
2- Mode 1
3- Mode 2
Some games didn't work when they first implemented PSP support, that was fixed with Mode 2 (but Mode 1 is still better compatibility for some)

Chinatown Wars does work in either mode

Tired everything with GTA Chinatown Wars, all modes(even tried prayn.
)
I might have patched it though for my psp's. Which is the reason I wanted to test again.
I did more psp games that did not work just can not remember which games.
I will begin to do psp games. NTSC of course.
We need game covers, notice barely half of the games tested actually show the cover. ccMM extracts cover? if so how...and why not the others?
