Cobra update help!

Ok im having a couple issues. 1st of all I attempted to download the new updater for PC and all I get is a chinese 404 page. Secondly, I attempted to update the Cobra from right before 4.0/4.1 to 4.1 and cobraflash gave me this error:
"Error Opening Device: COBRA was not found". So I figured no big deal Ill just go back to playing what I have available. Well thats not happening either because now the device just blinks at me in the ps3 and refuses to be recognized by my computer.
And yes, I've installed the drivers. And now my pc just reads it as an unknown device and refuses to reinstall the drivers because they aren't "newer" than the previous. PLEASE HELP ME!

EDIT: Ok I tried plugging the device into another computer and its giving me the same issues...I really hope Cobra's new update didn't cost me the device =<
