I'm gonna hold out for another couple of months myself, to await the possibility of this getting into some kind of non-dongle CFW, but come January, I'll be scouring t'interweb for the cheapest price ...

i may be interested in it also but havent looked hard enough to find it. im still on 3.41 original f/w and i saw id have to upgrade to custom firmware but doesnt that delete all internal hdd games?

No it does not. When I upgraded from 3.41 to kmeaw 3.55, it did not delete any of my games. Of course, I had to update a few games or just delete the game data so when launching them in 3.55 they would play. It's easy to do this.

I assume that updating to TB will be just the same.

If you are in Canada use this. They already have TB in stock and you wont have to wait for it to come from China.
