Does Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 take just forever to copy over to USB HDD from your pc or is it just me? I am talking about hours and hours... wondering if anyone has the same issue. Even extracting was taking forever too, other games are fine.

I didn't know this one worked. Did you find a fix for it somewhere? Anyway, the reason it's taking so long is that it probably has a couple thousand small files. Large numbers of small files take a long time to handle through extraction, ftp, or simple copy. It's the same with many games

I think it is supposed to work as it is on the compatibility list but I never got around to it of waiting for hours to extract and to copy to USB HDD, I cancelled out a couple times an hour or 2 in....

What list are you looking at? I know that Marvel vs Capcom 3 works, but I've never seen Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3. I think it's too new and hasn't been patched yet. I'd like to know if you do get it working. There's nothing you can do about the long time copying files. Marvel Vs Capcom 3 was the same way. It might be best just to let it run overnight or when you don't plan on using your console for a while

you can't post links until you hit a certain number of posts. Check your source before you download it again. This one says it's not compatible with 3.55 http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...93ioEQ&cad=rja You might be stuck with the original Marvel Vs Capcom 3

Edit: sorry that should be http://www.pshomebrew.net/wiki/PS3_B...atibility_List

If I'm not mistaken, that one is a 3.72 game and like I said I haven't seen a patch for it unless there's one for TrueBlue. The original one works pretty well if you can't get it working. Let me know

Something that works faster when transferring a game to an USB HDD that has thousands of small files, is to unzip it on the USB HDD than copying it over with files already extracted.

And yeah, that game already has a TB patch for it. Check out the TB Game Chart that I update every other day: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f265/tru...-thread-99116/ (TrueBlue Game compatibility thread)
