Twisted Metal - No Sound after applying patch for True Blue??
Twisted Metal - No Sound after applying patch for True Blue?? –
Has anyone had this problem? I applied the eboot patch and dongle works. Video works fine. Has there been any reported problems with the game with True Blue. Installed on ext HD, true blue 2.5 with paradox patch. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
I've got mine on external drive and works fine. Did you do the language file rip or is your backup intact?
I used MManager latest version to rip original blu-ray then used Paradox's eboot patch to play. gameplay and video is fine just no sound. Any ideas?
Yeah, I had the same problem ripping original Final Fantasy XIII disc with true blue firmware. I backed it up before when I was on rebug firmware and it played fine. I needed the space for a little while so I deleted the backup, then when it was time to rip it again, I had TB firmware installed. I backed it up the same way and to the same location, but this time it froze at the Square Enix logo. What you need to do is switch to KMEAW or Rebug firmware, delete the backup you made and rip it again on one of these firmwares, apply the patch again, then go back to True Blue firmware. More than likely you'll have to do this every time you want to backup a game directly from disc. It's something to do with True Blue's copy protection. I think it was to prevent their backup discs (Batman Arkham City, Resistance 3, X-Men Destiny, etc) from being copied

You can't ask for links to bootlegs here. This isn't a piracy site. If you still have the original disc like you say, then just switch to rebug 3.55.2 at Codename: REBUG load multiman and re-backup your disc. Then reinstall True Blue firmware. Backing up games with TrueBlue firmware either corrupts some files, or doesn't copy them all. It's a known problem

It only affects copying games directly from the disc. It doesn't affect using FTP to transfer games or copying games from a USB drive. It doesn't affect playing NON-TB games from original disc or from backup. But YES it would be in your best interest to go ahead and backup whatever discs that you have that need to be patched or you want to play from the hard drive. It will save you a lot of headache when your TB gets in.
