Umm, I rather say that they (PatrickBatman and I) are sometimes at the mercy of the people that report on the games--and we are human and sometimes make an error (whether we misunderstood the report and we typed in the wrong info to the wrong game). This is why we are always interested to learn if there is a glitch somewhere to make our list more accurate.

It's safe to say that most of us prefer testing games on external HDDs in order to save space on our internals HDDs (God only knows what those with only 80 or less GBs internal HDDs must go through). So this is why it's common to see that if a game plays fine on external HDD, for the Internal HDD entry in the chart it will display a "?" for that info, since we are waiting for someone to test it there to be able to update that chart.

But if it has a "NO" then it might be because someone tested it and it failed, and the reason is given in the notes.

If I remember right there was severe lag on that one in the fmv because of a large amount of files on internal. It was unplayable. Very similar to Uncharted 2 needing to be internal but 1 and 3 had to be external.

Well I wait for at least 3 people to confirm something working, if its some unpopular game (not tested much) one report is good enough after a few weeks and I go from there. I generally test most games myself except for japanese/most sports games which i dont play and really rely on others. William2004 (on here as well) is one of the main game testers I get first reports from.

i know personally if i report a game as working it is usually a case of loading the game and playing for 5-10 minutes

i currently have 390 ps3 games that are working but ive only played maybe 15-20 games extensively so its possible
someone who plays a certain game for a longer periode of time will find a problem.

Edit: BTW Order Up is working diskless on external

if using scene release make sure to get the PROPER release
    the first release didnt work.

Noticed something strange. Alice Madness Returns had a DUPLEX fix. I had it running on Rebug firmware. Now that I'm on TB firmware it doesn't want to play. I would just use the TB patch but the DUPLEX fix included the DLC for Alice 1. Anyone else have this issue?

Edit: I went ahead and used the TB patch. Still nothing. Getting annoyed

Edit 2 : Went back to Rebug 3.55.6. Still nothing. It shows the screen where you're about to install the game data, then nothing. No HD access lights. Getting really annoyed

You gonna get even more annoyed, because the Duplex fix with the included DLC for Alice 1 for me works fine on TB firmware on External HDD with a disc loaded. I never tried it with the TB fix, since I also wanted the DLC to work.

Looking through the dirs. Looks like PS3Rip and the mandatory install was the culprit. Got the game again and transferring the DUPLEX version back. Will see

Ok, I got the game working. You can't rip it without screwing up the mandatory install. I used the DUPLEX FIX. I also installed the Alice 1 DLC. The Alice 1 DLC shows a loading screen then kicks you back to the XMB. Can you check it for me on your end?

Edit: Got it working. Had to delete the game data and do the mandatory install then install the DLC again. I won't be deleting this game data to save space again

How about starting an incompatible list? FEAR 2 Project Origin absolutely requires BD redirection (select+x). Most games don't need it anymore, but this one does. I had to switch to Rebug to boot it. I wish they'd fix that. It's annoying to swap firmwares for different games
