It's safe to say that most of us prefer testing games on external HDDs in order to save space on our internals HDDs (God only knows what those with only 80 or less GBs internal HDDs must go through). So this is why it's common to see that if a game plays fine on external HDD, for the Internal HDD entry in the chart it will display a "?" for that info, since we are waiting for someone to test it there to be able to update that chart.
But if it has a "NO" then it might be because someone tested it and it failed, and the reason is given in the notes.
Well I wait for at least 3 people to confirm something working, if its some unpopular game (not tested much) one report is good enough after a few weeks and I go from there. I generally test most games myself except for japanese/most sports games which i dont play and really rely on others. William2004 (on here as well) is one of the main game testers I get first reports from.
