I can verify that the game MASS EFFECT 3 plays fine when extracting the MAIN.PSARC file to an external HDD. I will update the game compatibility chart with this new information. Many thanks to all those that tested this.
@k288, seems like your HDD is ready to die. I would suggest to use a recovery tool. (like File Scavenger by Que Tek). Recover your files and copy them to a new healthy HDD. Then you will need to reformat your HDD.
Try this before abandoning drive or replacing it. Since it's not showing up in windows this tool might help. It's fixed one of my older drives. It stopped showing in Windows after I unplugged the usb drive from the PS3 when the power was still on. Active@ Partition Recovery.Restoring lost partition.Recovering MBR.Quote:

absolute last resort for you guys with screwed up hard drives is back up what you can and delete the partition and create a new one then do a complete format. The complete format will check for damaged parts of the hard drive as it goes and isolates those sections from your partition so you can at least still use the drive. It will take a while and you will lose all data on the drive
after extracting I get 2 folders named BIOGAME and BINARIES.
USRDIR already contains 2 folders named BIOGAME and BINARIES.
Do i replace, merge, or rename ?

I say Merge. I ran into the same situation. But I then explored the folders that were already on the disc of Mass Effect 3 before the extraction. And I notice that there are only two tiny files in each folder's directory and the psarc file that we extract does not contain these two files, so it will be safe to just merge them. In windows just drag and drop the two folders in USRDIR (it will only replace the folders, but those two tiny files will stay there.)Quote:

Hey guys, do you think there is a possibility that someone is gonna do a TB Eboot for mass effect 3 euro?
Because most of the 3.55 versions of mass effect 2 on the net are euro, and I don't think there is a way to import saves from the euro to us version.
