    So i have my ps3 with 3.55 kmeaw and a year ago my friend started updating it to 3.60 but i stopped it when it was at half and i can still play backups and things but the problem is will i be able to update my ps3 to tb cfw cuz when i go to my system settings it shows that i have 3.60

    You can download TB CFW and try to install it then see what happens...before you buy the dongle...

    did you use a spoofer maybe to show 3.60 and if you do it from recovery menu i think the wort that would happen is it would just say that the current version is higher than what your trying to instal so you hould be safe but i would do it through recovery menu as if it is a spoofer it will bypass it

    If you can install the CFW WITHOUT the the spoofer, then you're good to go with the TB CFW. So install the original 3.55 WITHOUT the spoofer and then proceed how to install the TB CFW note: You might do these steps through factory service mode on your PS3....Good Luck...
