I just got my new TB and followed the exact correct steps.
So I updated my dongle to 2.5 and restarted as (dongle update complete! The system will now restart)
and after the restart I get this on the screen

The system was not turned off properly the last time it was used.
Turn off the system in either of the following ways to help avoid data loss or corruption, or damage to the system.
*Select [Users]> [Turn Off System] on the screen.
*Touch the power button on the front of this system until the system beeps (for 2seconds).

And nothing happens the firmware stays 3.55 no update
please some one help me with this.

So, you installed TB CFW v2, and then installed the 2.5 update to your dongle? And was your dongle and CFW working before, or did you just get the dongle?

    I just got the dongle.
And yeah I installed TB CFW V2 and then the update.

    What might be the problem?

Well, you have TB CFW right, and your TB is as 2.5... I am not seeing the problem. Sounds to me like you are ready to go.

So the dongle stays red after installing TB CFW v2 and booting up? What does you system info read in XMB?
