just got it this morning. i have tried 3 different ports on my pc everytime i get a mess. saying act faster in 2.0 (yeah whatever get it all the time)
then it sees the usb and usb mass storage but then i get a error message and in device manager i have installed and unistalled updated driver still not luck. have googled and no luck so i turn to you my friends(lol)
any help would be apprec.

Actually just a retard. Tb goes to ps3 only need a separate usb device for update. Fixxed.
Cant seem to update to 2.5 but ran out of time.
"Unable to communicate with device" or something like that.
So stuck on 2.1 for now. Have tried with/withxout stick in and tried with in. Still no luck.
Pc was giving a drm error im guessing
from what i remember you instal your tb firmware then the 2.5tb update make sure the tb dongle in left usb an ur usb stick in the right side or vice versa get them of the tb websiteQuote:

you might have to do update steps to get to 2.5 (2.2, 2.3 ,2.4 & then 2.5) most newer ones are coming with 2.5. (wow it seems you have been waiting awhile, I think I remember you saying you ordered)

um the fw says 2.1 its not 2.5 thats for sure. Cant communicate.
