TB Q's before purchase –

kids is bugging the hell out of me so i am going to give in and purchase the dongle, i don't support what they are doing but this is America, land of the CONSUMERS, so without ado....
was wondering, after installing CFW for TB is it the same essentially as kmeaw except no more support for split games(BDEmu2)
and i also wondering if its a pain to swap back and forth from kmeaw and TB(for split games)
and would you recommend Code Rebugs TB cfw?

Couple things - it is basically an updated KMEAW, but after switching you have to remember to install the rebug spoofer to restore your PSN activations that you've done with ReActPSN or you'll get an error about needing to activate the account. Swapping firmwares is real easy to do if you set up Shaitan's method for swapping firmwares but I'm not entirely sure you'd have to for the reason you gave. I think it still uses the bdemu2 payloads for regular games - don't quote me on that but it still shows up in multiman's settings. DO NOT install rebug's TB firmware after installing the latest TB dongle firmware. There's an article about it at Codename: REBUG which says that since TB updated there's a kill switch to brick the dongle if you use a combination firmware that has TB support and peek/poke support. After getting the TB's firmware for your ps3 setup and everything working like it should, you shouldn't have to mess with it just remember that if you don't have the dongle in then your ps3 will act like it's on official 3.55 firmware meaning no backups at all

What about backups? Are they still in the same format as in Gamez folder?

yeah, they're handled the same way. You just have to apply the patches from Paradox

I bought my True Blue dongle and Batman AC from lighttake on feb 14th and I only received them today (I'm in England btw). According to the tracking info, it was only posted on the 23rd.
