Tb dongle 2.6.1 make my ps3 shutdown ?

Hi everyone,
I got wierd problem after updating my tb dongle to 2.6.1 (I download from tbdongle website), in most game my ps3 suddenly shutdown and blinking red led, I press the swith off,and turn it up again it's normal again.
I worried so i open my ps3 and change the paste with thermaltake paste.
I try playing FIFA Street, for about 20 minute it got the same problem (Shutdown). I try playing Shadow of the damned the result is the same.

I downgraded the dongle to 2.5.1, i play FIFA street about 2 hour everything normal, no shutdown.

Is everyone got the same problem ?

FYI:
My TB is 2nd gen i think, i got fw dongle 2.5.1 from the start and got a led in the back.

Your not the only one, there's a case similar to yours happening to someone from another forum but his is a 1st gen TB (I'm expecting more reports)

Only shut down I get is when I plug in or remove a USB drive. I've got 2 dedicated to games and 1 dedicated to Movies. I've only got 2 USB ports and it's a little annoying to turn off the PS3 to swap drives

hm... thats wierd, my friend got 1st gen TB ( no LED ) it's working fine with 2.6.1 fw dongle.

mine got only 2 USB too.. i never swap drive, i try swapping TB and my HDD , the result are the same.

i hope TB make mistake on their firmware, not my ps3 gettin' the way to the grave lol

I'm not having any issues with mine updated to 2.61
I have 2nd Gen

how come everyone says no LED/ no light It has a green LED it's just not very bright & if you don't look for it you won't notice it (unless of course the room is dark)

I have 2nd gen TB no problems here so far. I've had a game stop as it said disc been ejected. But like I said this only happened once. Everything else seems fine

let's hope they release a 2.62 very quickly to fix this (even though I don't seem to have a problem that I have noticed)

Maybe we need a list of the troublesome games

You guys that are having trouble thought about reflashing the 3.55 TB PS3 firmware? I've heard that it helps some people with problems
