Update:
I just got word that deank delivered today my request, in the base download for multiMAN/mmCM 4.0.3.2, that was released early today, has a new/update version of bdRESET2 that will be a temporary fix for us with the problem above with TB. Now we can use this tool to be able to mount app_home and get our disc icon back after we turn on our PS3, without having to eject/reinsert or run/exit multiMAN.

I wonder if this problem you are describing is related to a new TB issue that I'm having.
I recently gave up on waiting for a resistance 3 eboot patch and bought the TB disc from lightake. I received it yesterday, but when I put the disc in it doesn't show up on the XMB (the XMB gets very slow), and I also don't see it in multiman.
I'm also on 2.7 and I will try downgrading to 2.51 later tonight to see if it will work. Does anyone have problems with TB discs on 2.7?
