Yo...Kudos for easy guide. I had no problem setting up Reactpsn 2.2 on my TB2.61 phat with 2 working usb ports. I have a few questions that I don't really see in the guides so maybe someone can clarify for me as I am not a noob but never mind a good noob tutoring :-0

    1. All modes are working accept triangle mode. I get a no 3.41 error message. Is this because I haven't modified the vsh file?

    2. If not then what is the work around on that or do I have to downgrade to 3.41 or another CFW to use triangle mode?

    3. What exactly are they modifying in the vsh file (just curious on that one) and has anyone bricked due to applying it?

    4. In some rap packs I have gotten an act.dat file. I assume this was needed in react 1.0 to react other users contents so do I need those act.dat files in the usb\extdata or does it not matter now as long as I have my own act.dat created?

    5. Last question is can react possibly unlock anything someone has created a public key for? I say this because I used it on Deepspace prequal and think it will work on other deepspace games. I noticed on PSN there is a full (14gb) playable ME3 posted (60min demo). A few other full, time limited, demos are up as well. With public generated keys from someone that purchased it are those 'demos' unlockable? or do they unlock via some other signing method....Super bonus points to anyone who knows but I may try myself and was suprised to see full sized demos like that available.

Thanks...any input from anyone on these questions would be helpful. ReactPSN is a great program but hey a CLI would be kind of useful if they are to busy to do a gui.

Yes, I updated it to reflect that. But once you remove the dongle to install update 2.62, you'll have to reactivate your DLC etc, so make sure you have a backup of your act.dat before doing this as it will erase it. I also made the tutorial less confusing.

Did you have the dongle out or change firmware?

I can only answer question 4 as I dont use triangle mode and have never used vsh file (luckily) but I do know it has to do with dev_blind and yes some people did brick their console when modifying this.

Onto question 4: dont use their act.dat, if you read any of the rap2rif tutorial you'd see that act.dat is specific to each console based on IDPS for one. I never used reactPSN 1.0 so i dont know if for some reason they had prepatched stuff like an act.dat and rap files to work properly. or whatever, regardless use your own act.dat

[QUOTE=BahumatLord;969074]You guys that are having trouble with ReActPSN. It's probably because you have never been on PSN before with your current user account. Now that the TB spoofer is current you can create a new account on PSN to get a working ACT.DAT which is used to store your activations. Look at the PSN section in the XMB. If it says Sign Up then you do NOT have a working ACT.DAT. You can create one. Go ahead and click Sign Up. It will bring up a screen so you can enter a username, password, name, address, etc, etc. Go ahead and follow the onscreen instructions until it asks you if you want to go to the PSN store. Exit back to the XMB. It should now say Sign In. If it does then you have a working ACT.DAT and can start to use ReActPSN.

You can also recover a pre-existing PSN account using the method above. There's a prompt for it in the above instructions. Just enter your old user name and password and you'll get a working ACT.DAT that way - DO NOT SIGN IN!!!!

You are going to place all your RAP and EDAT files in \exdata on your external drive. The drive with this folder MUST be plugged in the far right USB slot or it won't work
Change your user account name to aa
Run ReactPSN 2.20 without holding anything. It will scan the exdata folder and activate the contents

If you have PSN content but don't have the RAP or EDAT, then install the pkg files
change your user acccount name to aa
Run ReActPSN 2.20 and immediately hold the circle button for 6-10 seconds. It will scan your internal drive /game folder for PSN content that hasn't been activated and generate the missing activations

If you have DLC content but don't have the RAP or EDAT, then install the PKG files
change your user account name to aa
Run ReactPSN 2.20 and immediately hold the triangle button for 6-10 seconds. It will scan your internal drive /game folder for DLC content that hasn't been activated and generate the missing activations
The DLC scan part might freeze. Some people got it to work, but I never could because of certain things I have on my hard drive that I don't care to identify in public

    wow. nice work guys.

just want to make sure i got this right.
i have login as compared to sign up.
boot dongle out, hit react and hold circle , then copy paste to exdata(the rar file)
then load up on raps and put them in the exdata folder too.
then install pkg's and rename user back to aa, then run reactpsn again without holding anything then it scans the exdata folder and does its magic.
then turn off and re insert dongle,
    POW go to go?

can i do this with dongle inserted?

NO DONT LOGIN, SIGNUP. Then the PSN in XMB should read SIGN IN instead of SIGNUP after you filled your info in if you did it right. BUT DONT SIGN IN. yes dongle inserted

That's dated info on losing your act.dat by removing the dongle. There is still a problem when you update the dongle firmware or your PS3 firmware you need to change your username to aa and run ReActPSN again. Just make sure you keep that exdata folder on your usb drive in the right slot like the instructions tell you to and you won't have a problem. They're tiny files so they don't eat up space. Once you get it up and running you won't have to mess with it again unless you want to add new items.

Rif and raf go in your home/useraccount/exdata folder. Rap and edat go in your usb/exdata folder and P3T and any edat for dynamic themes go in your dev_hdd0/theme folder

By the way for Arkham City there's also the Robin DLC, Nightwing DLC, new Riddler missions and several new batsuits. They're worth looking for

What do you mean its "dated"? I removed my dongle two days ago to rip an original game still lost act.dat, i'm on 2.62 You wont lose your backup if its named something different like act1.dat, but i still lost act.dat by removing dongle on 2.62

Removing the dongle is changing your firmware too BTW from TB CFW v2 3.55 to CFW 3.55

I don't get that on mine. The only time I have to run ReActPSN again is when I update the dongle firmware. Different models maybe? I got mine in early February before they all started shipping with 2.51. Also I had the working ACT.DAT for my account before I started using TB firmware. If that doesn't sound right then I'll make a new account from scratch and check it
