Question about TRU BLU emergenct please help

Well, it happened AGAIN - YLOD. For the third time. I started getting beep-beep-beep warning signals when the machine was greenlit BEFORE I got TB so I know it probably isn't TB.

My question is - I am sending it to a place to get it repaired. I was going to take out the dongle. I heard that it then runs on OFW. Will they be able to run regular games without the dongle? I'd rather not send it with the dongle. A prompt reply would be great. Thanks -

Yes they can run regular games, problem is only 3.55 and lower games, so you better make sure they dont test with a 3.56+ game and update your firmware or say bye bye jailbreak (unless you want to spend more money to get a downgrade flasher)

Both times they repaired, they kept it the same, so I don't believe it will be anything different. However, since more time has passed since the last repair, and more games are requiring higher firmwares, I might request that they do not upgrade my firmware.

Also, if this is some sort of local repair company then not a big deal but even though it acts like 3.55 OFW it will still have install pkg files in the XMB, so if this an authorized sony repair store, I would install 3.55 OFW before you send it then you can change it back to TB CFW when you get it back.

Oh wait you have YLOD you cant install anything can you, luckily ive never had one
