no problem man - I'm glad you got it working. You needed 2.51 because you have a brand new TB model. The PCB board is different than the older models. There's supposed to be a 2.61 update in the next few days when they get the bugs corrected. Don't forget to delete the game update folders from your backups and install the spoofer from 4.00 Version Spoofer 2.1 | Codename: REBUG to make sure you don't accidentally update (or someone else doesn't)
do you know how to use saves from other users?
REBUG had a function called "fake save data owner".
I've had some success with PS3 Save Unlocker but apparently it doesn't work with all games (mostly encrypted ones). There's supposed to be some retail disc from xploder that will let you do it, but I can't vouch for it. I've never used it. So even if I have the new dongle with 2.51 preinstalled I still need to update to 2.51? Also is it safe to install the rebug spoofer with the latest update?Quote:

I'm talking about the new TB dongles that have 2.51 installed those ones do not need the new update that was released yesterday (2.51)? I have not received my dongle as yet should arrive sometime this week just wanted to make sure I have everything updated etc. Yeah I've used rebug spoofer before works great and helps prevent accidental updating was just asking if it's safe to install one the TB CFW. The 2.6 update I believe had a 4.11 spoofer too hopefully in the next TB update (2.61) they still have the 4.11 spoofer.Quote:

Iīm having the same problem as the topic. Tried all dongles updates, from 2.2 til 2.7. The older ones wonīt fine my dongle, and the new ones hang on update (23% usually). If I start the PS3 with the dongle on, the ps3 light is green and the dongle light is red, the screen is black and I have to hard power off the ps3.
Mine is an old Phat model. Tried with 2 slims of some friends of mine, and they all have the same problem with my dongle. I donīt know anyone who uses a TB and canīt test on their consoles. BTW iīve checked and my TB dongle seems real.
Edit: Fixed with the 2.51 thing. When I try to update to 2.7 tho, it still hangs at 23% and it screws up the dongle, and I have to update again to 2.51, wich is a pain, since its not always updating. Anyway I wonīt mess with this dongle anymore, will just play with 2.51 forever.
