When I create a second, third, ect., save at the history crux the system freezes and reboots. Here's the behavior, it shows Save data is overwritten over three stages, Do not exit the game until this process is complete, ( 1 of 3 stages). Progress bar reaches 100% and changes to Save data is overwritten over three stages, Do not exit the game until this process is complete, ( 2 of 3 stages), and it freezes. I let it sit for 5 minutes the first few tries to see if something would happen, the only thing I can do is press the PS button, and exit the game. Get Please wait screen for 10 seconds, PS3 beeps three times and reboots. I can still load all the saves just fine and it appears that freeze doesn't occur when I save over the one that was loaded from the title screen. So if I load save 3, I can only save over slot 3 again at the crux to prevent the freezing. It has not hindered my playing experience in any way it just seems odd and a hassle to create multiple saves. Has any one else seen this behavior?

i'd be cautious using the said to be infected eboots.....i dont even wanna use tb anymore until i get a blank hd an just put a few games on there an not worry bout loosing anything really.

really bad that their security crap is affecting normal tb users too it seems.

I've got the same problem. I used the EURO game and EURO patch and I can only save in one slot. If I try to make a new slot in game or overwrite a different save created from the menu I get the same error. I haven't tried fix permissions yet but some people report it fixes strange behavior similar to this. It might do nothing for you and it might fix it. IDK. Try it and report back

Edit: @Menace - I pretty much played it all the way through with no major issues. The only fragment I didn't get was the Monster Hunter fragment where you have to get complete info on every monster in the game. I went after the rare monsters but when I got down to chasing after low-level monsters I've beaten dozens of times I got annoyed with it and put it down at least for now

This could be an issue with the dumping process. This game sometimes has problems when you dump it from TB CFW v2. May try and dump it from Rebug or Kmeaw. Then switch back to TB CFW v2. I've played a few "infected" eboots all the way through and had no problems. Havent heard anyone else have problems with them in terms of HD erasure etc UNLESS they were using a clone.

I have the same problem and I used the DUPLEX release because I've had too many problems backing up games on TB firmware. And YES, I do own this game. I always buy Final Fantasy games. I've owned every one since the original
