New to TB- just a couple of questions

I just got my TB dongle (purchased at digimartz)
i currently have a 3.41 console with PS3break, so before i start messing with TB, i have a few questions to avoid doing something stupid-

1- can i go straight from 3.41 with the JB to TB 3.55CFW?
2- it's been eons since i did any kind of firmware update- do i need to back up all the stuff on the PS3's hdd (saves, games, content) or is the hdd not formatted during the update?
3- after i install the 3.55cfw and update the dongle to 2.5, do i just install multiman as usual and that's it?

any answer would be appreciated, thanks.

1. It's best to upgrade to 3.55 OFW then to TB 3.55 CFW
2. No all you need to do is update to 3.55 OFW then to TB 3.55 CFW all backups/saves/game data/ trophies/content will still be intact
3. There has been some reports that newer TB dongles already have 2.5 on them best to just follow the instructions and just install the TB CFW/ 2.5 Update then just update your dongle. BE SURE TO FOLLOW THE STICKY MADE BY JAY-JAY
