    Hi everyone
Just got my dongle yesterday and I went ahead and installed everything necessary to make it work(I purchased mine through modchipdirect and I have the PHAT PS3)
When I First installed the TB Custom firmware, it rebooted fine, went to about 30 percent when it was installing to the hard drive, then went to black screen, and it went to the menu and everything seemed fine even though it still says version 3.55 in system settings
Then I installed the true blue 2.5 firmware pkg, it installed fine..when I plugged in the true blue dongle, it said "Error communicating with the dongle" and the PS3 rebooted itself, got some message about turning on the PS3 correctly blaa blaa blaa..then I went into system settings and now it says Version 3.55, True Blue v2.51..so does that mean everything is fine now? I assume 2.51 is what the new dongles come with now?
What do I do with the 2.5 pkg file that I installed on the PS3 can I remove it?
Thanks just wanted to be sure I did everything correctly

After updating the dongle you can just delete the 2.5 updates, yes.

As for everything went right... you'd have to a test a True Blue game and see whether works, before you can determine that :P.

The dongle is showing the green led when you've boot up the PS3 and reached the PS3 menu with it connected I assume? That's one sign that it is working.

yeah I tested out Mass Effect 3(With the true blue fix) and it worked, so if that game works then everything else should work too :-) Will try out some more games later on today. Hopefully when I turn on the PS3 the loading time wont be very long, from what I Hear its supposed to take about 30 sec or so
