How to edit eboots. –
Can someone give me a link to a guide that is easy and simple that allows me to edit the eboots of a game to play with TB? Trying to edit my copy of twisted metal but cant find a guide that is simple and straight to the point. Something that gives me all the download links for all the things that I need to download to edit them (besides the eboot patches) thank you.
TB eboots are resigned with unknown keys. You're not going to be able to edit them at the moment
no I meant, how do I edit the game with the eboot patches to be played with the true blue dongle? you know, the process I have to do to play newer games....the reason i bought a true blue lol! or does true blue cfw auto allow newer games to be played, like twisted metal skyrium...etc.
Oh, I didn't understand what you meant. You need to get the patches and apply them to your game backup folder. You just copy everything in the PS3_GAME folder over top of your backup PS3_GAME folder. Look here for the patches. There's several pages of them
Awesome, thank you for that. Would you happen to have a link to a update compatibility list for games that need to run on internal or external so I know before hand? Thank you.
How do you edit the PARAM SFO and change its region with that program? Also, I downloaded the twisted metal eboot fix from that website and it did not come with a PARAM SFO it only included a 001,002, and sfv file types, do these also go into the PS3_GAME folder? And what if the game does not come with a PARAM file, how do I edit it to be in USA? Thank you.
really need this answered soon since I now have the twisted metal game on my HDD. Thanks.

Edit - just point 7-zip at the 001 file, then extract
Yes, you must extract the download patch twice. And then you will see the folder and files that you need. Once you have extracted them, open up the PARAM.SFO file, and make sure it has the same ID code as your game folder does. If not, then you need to change it to make it match. After that, simply save the file, and then swap the patched files for the original ones.
