which eboot do i install for skyrim? there 2

there is 1 then another one for patch 1.02?

what do i do?
and how do i install the eboots ? The first skyrim one i got has 4 files in it. Its not like the old eboot fix with MM

Well you can install either one or both (some people dont like the 1.02 update). Anyway just use winrar to extract EBOOT PATCH if it then shows .001 .002 file extensions etc extract .001 with winrar or 7zip (again) then you should see a PS3_GAME folder swap the eboot and files in there with the skyrim game backup ones. Extract 1.02 update the same way until you see a .pkg file. Move .pkg to usb hard drive or usb thumb drive and plug into ps3, install from XMB install package files, then play.

If you decide you dont like the 1.02 update go to xmb Gama Data Utility (under game) Skyrim Update hit triangle then pick delete. It should then run from original PARADOX Eboot and not the 1.02 update

I did what u said. I DID NOT install update. Only the 1 eboot. But. I cant get skyrim to play stays at a black screen. I then reset it and put on bd mirror and nothing.



do i need to update it? THe game has no updates on it. the game is at 99.99 firmware/ mine is 3.55 tb

now im really confused . My skyrim eboot came with 3 files and 2 of them have ps3 folders file 1 and file 2 and are both diff sizes? WTf do i do?


i dunno but i did get MW3 to work... but i want to play skyrim

also how can i play my reg MM back up games? WIth the tb in it wont play anything but TB games

BD Mirror is not an option for TB (will not work because it's not needed) This game for sure works if the patch is installed correctly on a good rip, also works fine with patch 1.02

Did you replace all files and not just the eboot? You match the folders the PARADOX eboot came with and find those folders in the gamebackup and overwrite the PARADOX files with the one in the original backup with the exact same name.eboot soes in usrdir folder param.sfo in PS3_GAME folder The game also has troubles running discless with this eboot.

The 99.99 firmware says that on all true blue eboots or 50.00 etc its just so the game doesnt automatically update with a sony update from internet basically its fine its supposed to be like that.

If you're absolutely sure you're applying the eboot and other files correctly then you have a bad rip get another version

Disc in tray? Without 1.02 I know you need it as this is how I've been playin it. Not sure with 1.02 but the compatibility chart says it runs discless with 1.02 installed.

i dont think you guys read my whole post. The skyrim comes with 3 files( this is the paradox patch). file 001 and file 002. Both 001 and 2 comes with eboot and usdir etc that are all diff sizes. WHich do i use? I dont run anything discless. Also

001 002 003 is a split compressed file use WinRAR to extract should only come out with 1 EBOOT not sure if there are other files (I'll check)


Edit: Open with... WinRAR / Extract 1 EBOOT 1 PARAM
