I just checked. This is the contents of the pkg file
You ended up replacing the whole update patch with content from the patched disc. I think your best bet to prevent problems if you're trying to play this one online is to
1. delete the update data
2. change the version number in the backup's PARAM.SFO to 1.01
3. run and reinstall any game data
This will be the closest you can do to make your PS3 think you're on 1.01 like the rest of the online gamers. You'll have to change the PARAM every time an update comes out. Or you can just leave it as 50.00 from the TB patch and still play online. Sorry man - it was a good effort
Seems like a different game?
Thought this was BLUS30720.
That's the US version of the game. The TB patch is for the Eur version of the game but works on US too. I've got the US game and Eur TB patch which is probably what you have. Here's the link for the US update but check your PARAM.SFO. If you used the one from the patch you'll use the first update I listed. If you didn't use this one, but it's just the eboot too
Well turns out all DLC is paid for, nothing free!
Anyway I decided to buy 1 cheapo dlc to see what would happen and had the 80029780 error which is a account activation problem. I can actually activate my PS3 (once every day or so) but I hear there is download bans etc... This is a odd move for Sony, seems they prefer to make downloading content hard for people as I read on other forums even OFW people have issues at times.
Non the less the story is that Dragons Dogma DLC content is all paid content so nothing really lost. It be nice if F**KPsn looked into solving the DLC activation problem, I hear the server for new content has changed so maybe it can be spoofed into the program sometime.
