There is a video on youtube with some dude running TB sticking the original game disc in with the dongle and it running just fine which translates to if you have the original game disc you can play it on 3.55 TB with the device so now let's find out if it works with a burned DL DVD ok?

Youtube doesn't translate to fact. You can prolly youtube 4.00CFW jailbreak and come up with some hits. Like bitsbubba said it's prolly the TB DISC of Batman. That works. But you cant rip it or anything to DVDDL or bluray. I think a few people have successfully RIPPED the TB DISC games however they still wouldn't work on PS3 with dongle because you need what ever special disc they're using and they don't sell these (they were going to) because consumer input was to PLAY ON HDD.

But by all means, waste time and money trying this I just wouldn't come here or any other scene site for help if it doesn't work because you'll eventually get flamed
(but maybe you won't there's a lot of people like you that don't really understand TB, I can admit I don't fully understand it all myself, but more than most on scene sites and bitsbubba is on the same or even higher echelon, trustworthy and was one of the first people to test games and inform scene sites about it).

I just don't want misinformation too spread, then we're wasting our time explaining to even more people why something doesn't work or isn't true.

why can't their disc be ripped? What's so special about it?

this whole special disc thing seems wrong, but I will try to use clone zilla and size the dongle to see if backing it up on another usb is possible that way I would not have to buy a replacement in the future cause clone zilla can copy all of the sectors knowing what I know it's just a usb stick and not a dongle so making a back up should be easy. This whole special BD on light lake thing seems way wrong, there must be something jacked up about the situation because how do you know TB is actually making those? How do you know whether or not they are actually made by someone else who is a pirate selling jacked up illegal copies? If you like me you have the original game disc you don't want to upgrade and you just want to play it on 3.55 seriously!

Their special cause they're masterdiscs like sony's. So buy a the machine that presses masterdiscs for like $10,000 and tell me if it works.

Ok, you are right but for one thing I got my TB today and I can tell you they have skill so the only thing left to do is to bug their email with millions of request to release a arkham city patch, face it, if you bug someone enough sometimes it just works out and they will give in so if we keep talking about this game they will eventually get sick and stinking tired of it and release a patch for it.

@Gman961, I agree. As they say, "The Squeaky Wheel, will get the Grease". Especially since now they are a retailer and they must listen to their customers wishes. Hopefully they can do this. It's by far a great game!
